Re: Stick Checks

Ok quick question regarding this. Is the 2inch string length a FIL rule or ELA rule? Because BUCs play full FIL I guess? In which case is it referees desrcetion on whether it is dangerous or not?

Re: Stickless Player

Player plays according to the rules of lacrosse and scores? Surely the referee should stop this kind of behaviour! Well actually I was pulling up the point that Trevor made about people not playing on their knees to gain advantage. I wasn't complaining about the goal. The defensive team in this sit...

Not sure if Benji is. Can't remember playing against him for ages.

Conrad has moved to Canada so doesn't obviously play for Spencer anymore.

Re: European Club Championships

I just want to wish Walcountian Blues all the very best of luck this weekend in Hamburg at The European Club Championships. I am sure they will represent the South and themselves brilliantly and let's hope they triumph in thier endeavours. Seconded. Hope they do us proud and bring back the silverwa...

I assumed all the pics were just to add a bit of colour to the article. I don't think there is particularly anything wrong with it. Just encourages us to send uptodate pics each week.

Bristol 1-17 Reading

Close fought first half. Pulled away in the 2nd. 11 assisted goals so I was happy. Believe Bristol like last week had a weaker than normal team

Re: Predictions

Winners in bold, no predictions on my own clubs games. Will add that I'm not trying to cause controversy. I think Hillcroft Blues will again be very tight but Hillcroft will take it: Prem Bristol Bombers v Reading Prem Harlequins v Purley - 1st game rust vs us. They will be better and I hope to god ...

Re: RESULTS ROUND UP

Yeah great round up. Especially since there were quite a few unusual results. Obviously can't summarise every division but would be a nice touch to have all the scores at the end.

Fantastic read. If olnly we could cajole someone into taking such detailed stats for our games I would be very happy.

Being able to pinpoint what really happened in a game rather than vague memories would be great.

Re: Who will win the premiership in 2011?

Based on last seasons form it is hard to look beyond Blues though you never know with Hampstead and I am sure Spencer and Hillcroft will compete. You seem to have missed EG off the poll? Edit: Yes that was tongue in cheek. It's just very weird that they won't be in the Prem this year. They're a good...

The only member nation I didn't get was the womens version because I couldn't spell it!

32 in total. Surprised at some of the associates but there were some I should have got that I didn't.

david, It does seem to be A LOT like what we are doing at The ArchLevel Report doesn't it. I was as interested to read that as you were my friend. Guess we'll see what happens! But it's not like that was an original idea. There are a few US sites like that and TOPJLAX were doing something similar i...

Re: Your NCAA D1 All American Team

Actually I think goalie in lacrosse is one of those positions where statistically your save percentage falls as your career progresses and you are more likely to get a stand out freshman. The more games a college goalie plays the more he can be scouted and the more game footage is recorded. Easier t...
