Biggest? Great that they got a handfuL of sports on the same day but...varsity boat race on the Thames - the bank is a pretty impressive sight - especially if you count the 'spectators' in pubs on the Thames. And twickenham rugby also impressive. As for number of sports (and perhaps a few 'non sport...

If you were to read the whole paper, they go into more details about some of the points you raise, that are not delved into on the inside lacrosse website. - so eyes - irreplaceable, though that low resolution http://vision.wicab.com/technology/ tongue 'brainport' was quite neat, shown on tv the oth...

Re: DeFran's weekly installment

Firstly, there is absolutely no doubt that this is a rule to ensure the safety of players, even though all players wear helmets. Amazingly, there is no such rule in the women's game, where you might have thought there was an even greater risk of injury? I have never seen a woman called for it, but ...

Re: BUCS fixtures

it would be great if we could just say push the championship back, im sure all the institutions and other sports would agree plus the championships finals are part of a larger event....so i guess it works to those dates....you could also argue why the finals for the last couple of years have being ...

Re: BUCS fixtures

So..... half time conclusions: 1. Scottish fixtures more likely to be cancelled?! 2. Push the championships later. And after a little more looking around I have found further reasons to question this decision. Weather is a problem. The days for the championship games are already set, and the weather...

Re: BUCS fixtures

I wasnt aware that games were not getting played. There are two brief hiatuses - january, and march, in which time remaining games can get played in time for a knockout competition if not - perhaps delay knockouts by a week or two? When people leave and start university yearly, it seems wrong to bas...

Re: BUCS fixtures

I think I missed the statement somewhere, so if someone could (re)enlighten me that would be great. Why is the tournament being played alongside the league? Regional leagues were a method of seeding for the tournament. I'm not aware of anyone publicising themselves as, for example, "South prem ...

@ laxjunkie. Are you are compiling suggestions? My comment above, written when I was getting a little frustrated, isnt about making the site more bling or adding new features, but simply about being able to plan the season ahead by there being a list of events for the coming year. Is there an expect...

My tuppence worth, and perhaps you've just caught me at a bad moment: HOW ABOUT AN UP TO DATE DIARY ON THE WEBSITE. Re: How can we grow Women's Lacrosse?

You're quite right. School to university and then also university to club. Two massive drop out areas. When you say men's lacrosse has caught up with the women's game - surely it already has with several universities having two or three mens or womens teams. It is not just Cambridge University, but ...
