I think Salou sounds like a winner, should there be teams there, with Dublin this year being bigger than ever for lax, and it would have been monstrous had the weather held up ok. You can't knock Dublin for what it is, Salou needs more ofa push.

Anyone give a report on Calella?

tis true, gonna be at Warwick on the same day, trials will run in the form of game(s), Yorkshire vs English Unis, this will give selectors a good option to see players play and also a good warm up for both teams for the nationals.

Chatted to Terry Venables and Glenn Hoddle whilst at a Utd game vs Juventus (the days when we always went 1 goal down before starting) and also Bob Wilson (the legend), came down after commentating and chatted to me and mate, had to make excuses otherwise would have wet myself on him! Which lax peop...

Thanks to Sweet Chariot for organising what was a tough one this year for pitches. Nites out were immense, cheers to OxBulls for letting me play semi-finals, awesome stuf...

the goalkeeper was Paul from Warwick, injured due to night out antics. I love that scarcasm never comes out on the forum!

Our keeper Tank has a good shout, he couldn't make it as our term had finished, but with 24 in squad, looks like we might be able to take two GK's.

i would love to see a video of this......think thats an audacious idea, to consider a "shooting" goalie stick, can i ask how the rest of your man up players are at shooting? But still, innovative thinking, off the wall, lets see more of that!

I've got an STX Profile, seems pretty hot, but for faces, i reckon Brine Vapour, not too smart with offset/head shape, but that baby can bend so much its unbelievable (without snapping!) I faced with it for 2 years, still no snap, until the cold weather got the better of it!

It was fairly kamikaze style goalkeeping, "unorthodox", but good laughs, really good natured game, good fun, good banter, cheers Brum.

Notts defo, they will be fairly evenly matched with Gloucesters freshers etc, but man for man, the experienced players at notts, far too good. I have played for the club this season, and Chippie's right, some exc high level players.....will be a great game.

Different for face rules though? Isn't he just not allowed to use it again for faces? Trick construction i guess that is, like wedging it in the back of the stick.......

I see what you mean, but who would compete at british nationals then? English Uni's are there, who would represent them then? Sure, it might not be representative, this year it should be, trials will be occurring for all uni's. I agree, south uni's should be the best from all of England, hopefully w...

England uni's need not really exist Not really sure this is a good call? Surely this is the best celebration of lacrosse, at a British Nationals tounrie? Cheshire and Lancashire don't have any games during the year, neither do the South until now. South uni's is a good idea, i played for English un...
