Re: Ken Gallucio Cup

NEMLA and ELA are the same thing! NEMLA is the ELA commitee with the job of running competition in the North. Having their representative in this comp would seem to me to be important, however I do know that NEMLA were very good at supporting national squads this summer so there may not be the mone...

Re: Oldham Senior Lacrosse Season 2012-13 P3

Hang on Waggy, I am the one who starts the rows on here! Lol sorry but I felt that someone different calling a first class k**b what they are may underline how out of touch they were in their comments. I will in future return to my place and leave it to you to call this first class D**k a D**k. :tw...

Re: Oldham Senior Lacrosse Season 2012-13 P3

This is really bad news for our game. We hear how well the BUCs side is doing but the ELA I assume does nothing to step in and try to help a 100 year old club survive? Oldham are a great bunch of honest lads. They do the right thing by having a junior section but I guess if the grass looks greener ...

Why not try a more aggressive style of defence in the worlds, changing things up, trying new thing doesn't mean the previous style was wrong just different!

Re: BNC Results

3 favourite moments of the BNC finals between Lancs and Cheshire 1) John Beadle looking like he was beaten with a pacey split dodge...then casually throwing some kind of check as he was passed to strip the ball from said dodger!!! 2) Ben Mcallister charging up field with the ball only to be met by ...

Re: Question for All NEMLA Players

and as mentioned only found out about cheshire too late, which even if i had I'm not sure i would have gone given the elitist attitude displayed for the last few years. I really resent this comment, Cheshire have trialed for the Seniors since I became secretary apart from last year when we were for...

Re: Question for All NEMLA Players

if Liverpool do not even know what county they are in then there is something wrong with the structure and organisation, which hopefully a NW region will help address. We know which county we're in, its knowing who's in charge of our county at the BNC's that's the problem! hopefully the NW region wi...

Re: MPC, Regions, Counties!

I'll ask again; as Yorkshire already acts as a region not a county, the new NW association plan to continue representative lacrosse, what's the problem? Why does anybody need to formulate a response? what is everyone worried about, Come up with a reason not to change or a problem with the change?

Re: MPC, Regions, Counties!

I normally try to stay out of these ill informed discussions however here goes, no one is saying that Yorkshire cannot exist, in fact if the NW were to form in many ways it would be following the model set by Yorkshire of helping new clubs to develop etc. Yorkshire is a regional association already,...

More people should have had opportunity to watch this game, two good teams playing some excellent lacrosse with athletes & Internationals on both sides. Doesn't help that the rest of the lacrosse community plays at exactly the same time... It's mad everyone playing sport on a Saturday afternoon...

Re: Yorkshire Squad 2012

A strong English Uni's side would underline the growth in that area of the sport, maybe reawaked the Unis touring side? without the yorkshire uni players this side will be a lot weaker, but without the students yorkshire would stuggle to mount any kind of Challenge. Having played for yorkshire in th...
