Re: Possible changes to football calendar....

And lax is something to look forward too in the dark winter months that aren't very BBQ & holiday friendly!! Summer you lose to may players to holidays, festivals, weddings that kind of stuff! Much better in winter IMO.

Re: Results Jan 19

Payson is going to find out about Westway at 8am tomorrow and thus whether Hampstead v Hitchin can take place. If Westway was fit and was available after Hampstead's game, another fixture could be played there? As I recall, during the snowfall last winter it was only Hampstead's pitch that survived...

Re: Results 12th of jan 2013

Well so did reading as evidenced by the astroturf. On the week where the insurance problem arose reading had 46 players available for selection and so tge last tging we wanted was a cancellatuon. realistically there are no weekend available for this game were both teams are free. Anyway we'll leave ...

Re: Results 12th of jan 2013

So Ash you didn't claim the points then, great! Sorry for the misunderstanding. Look forward to the game. BeeZee. I'm not sure you've read my post correctly.....we did claim the points, fortunately in the end we didnt have to pay for the astroturf, but it took quite a bit of wrangling. What I am di...

Re: Results 12th of jan 2013

That's not exactly an accurate account I things beezee. Firstly a few clubs cancelled fixtures on the basis of insurance (including spencer and reading). More importantly, the date of the rearranged game was agreed nearly 3 weeks in advance of the fixture, and both teams were in agreement on it. Blu...

Insurance?

haha only joking.

3.4million is good work especially compared to comparable sports. Its quite interesting reading the write ups on thing such as handball which dont even have a formal structure.

Spencer 2: 12 Reading 2: 9 Good game if lacrosse played well by both teams. Pleasure to referrer. Just to follow up on this, very good and exciting game played in good spirits. Lead changed hands a lot through the game and up to the end of the 3rd quarter the game was very in the balance. Spencer g...

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS

It's up to individual clubs, players and referees and their assessment of risk and liability. Some have chosen not to play, some are playing, others have other provisions in place, it's up to the teams involved in a game to decide!...there is no ban on playing this weekend if that's the question.

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS

Before i speak i do so as an individual and not as a representative of my club.....but in any case I don't intend to say anything to contraversial anyway or based on fact from the ELA website, so it doesn't really matter. As its out there....I am with s24 and RA tha this is entirely unsatisfactry. T...

Are women banned under fil or college rules. I seem to remember that it was a ela mpc ruling that stopped ladies from playing in England wasn't it?
