Tense doesn't even come close, with the last 5 mins being played on tired wearly legs. A final goal from Soton a few minutes from time eased the tension, and settled the game, but very remincent of last years flags semi final! Courtesy of yours truly (good old modesty)! made up for my swansea oggy!...

. Had a bit of a dilema b4 the game, no goalie so we made 3 of our freshers play paper, sizzor, stone to decide who would play in goal!! was good for us cos he made some gr8 saves, not what u'd call text book but they were interesting....... lol! he was a blatant cricket player! one of my shots was...

southampton beat UWIC 8-6 though it was 7-2 at the end of the third quarter, credit to uwic for a good fight back! We had a large squad, but 5 of our players were playing in their first (or second) match, and southampton were missing 4 or 5 starters and had an injury to one of our attackers in the s...

Oh i wonder who scored that own goal.....oh yeah it was me! Oh well! I thought we deserved more from that game and in my opinion, we dominated that game in scoring chances yet just couldn't finish; that was vastly disappointing though a very enjoyable game. It happens both ways in close games though...

yeah to be honest mike that was ridiculously negative. Nothing on any sort of form suggests that UWIC should beat us, though i'm not saying they won't. I will however predict a fairly comfortable win for us (3 or 4 goals, but by no means is it for sure.) Uwic provided more of a challenge for us than...

Thats a fair point in the south leagues there are plenty of non students playing on the uni sides but how is it in the midlands? I'm not sure but as raptor says due to work you'd have to think that the teams would have fewer non students in them, and ash are you trying to say that the standard of p...

Personally as a very recent graduate the main problem i can see is that BUSA regulations would stop non-students playing for uni teams. Whilst some might argue this is a good thing it may leave pools of players without a club. If Southampton and Portsmouth went BUSA now myself and a few other player...

When i meant "normaly" i meant it is relatively similar to england in terms of the fact it actually has proper law e...

um suspicious negative reviews from the two people who want everyone to go to dublin! lol. Long and the short of it is: You go to salou and its warm and actually like going on holiday with less inhibitions and more carnage and cheaper booze. You go to dublin and you are constricted by the normal reg...

yeah it should be awesome. Our girls are talking about going to, so we may be able to compete in all 3. Either that or we'll have to steal some girls from some where but we are definitely up for it!

West league

So what do we think to the start of the season then? As we expected? Lot of strong teams out there and i have to admit the league is a lot harder contested than i was fully expecting, In 3 games we have had 2 decided by a single goal that really surprised me. Good to see the league so close, could b...
