Re: Can we really grow LAX in the Winter?
If you don't think lacrosse is expanding in the south look at the SEMLA tables from 10 years ago and compare the number of teams to now. There were 4 leagues then, in one ladder. Now there are 6, with enought to create regional leagues. Now there are clubs capable of putting out 3 teams. Lacrosse is...

Re: Fixing muddy mesh? Please help
Put a ball in the pocket and wedge it in with a butter knife. Let the pocket dry and then once it's dry go and play some wall ball. The ball should be back in the usual spot, just takes a little breaking in.

Re: Best mesh for a new player
Bog standard hard mesh from one of the UK retailers will do you fine. I'll cope with the UK winters if you look after it. Dry it out with newspaper after a game, should last a couple of seasons if not longer.

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS
So players have public liability but clubs do not. I'm not going to try and dissect the actual policy, could someone sum it up in laymans terms. If I shoot and break a car window (if you know me, you'll know that's more likely than me scoring) am I covered by the insurance policy for the damage, or ...

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS
Well perhaps by discussing it, someone from the ELA could clarify the situation. I'm intrigued who signed off the policy. What the potential implications are, and how many, if any, claims have been made. When did this policy come into effect?

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS
Pom, I assume it is. The insurance appears to be as useful as a chocolate fire guard. No third party liability cover or damage to property.

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS
Did no one at the ELA bother to read the conditions of insurance. How many years have clubs been paying for insurance and not actually been covered? Obviously there can't have been any claims because this wasn't picked up before.

East Grinstead vs Spencer 2 - They're top of the league for a reason, although I see Spencer running them close Buckhurst Hill vs Blues 2 - Bucks are looking strong this year, I fancy them to take this by less than 5 Colchester vs Welwyn 2 - Welwyn have run Reading and Spencer close in recent weeks...

Re: Results 19/11/11
Thanks to Warwick for making the trip down, they never gave up, never stopped running and were rewarded with a fine team goal, even if it was only a consolation.

Southampton 11 - 5 Quins A good natured game to ref, only one personal foul. Cardiff traveled with 10 and went down to 9 men at half time. But they never gave up trying and drew the 3rd quarter 1-1 Quarter scores 3 - 2 (20,4,11 - 38, 17) 4 - 1 (26, 73, 11, 11 - 17) 1 - 1 (13OG - 38) 3 - 1 (73, 20, 2...

I'm a little shocked, but TeenWolf is slightly watchable. A bit Twilight-y (which I haven't seen) but the lacrosse makes it half decent.

Re: Harrow Carbon Graphite Men's Shafts
Use Harrow Howitzer, a really lovely shaft, but for the money $135 new, be prepared to break it at any time. I'm on my 5th in 3 years maybe. I picked a few up on USA eBay for $50, and for that price they are worth it.
The grip is second to none, and the convex/concave handle just feels so right.
