results 25 September

Rather than just have the men's results posted thought it would be good to post today's scores.

Centaurs beat Harpenden 21 - 2, the score does not represent a competitive game which was fought all the way to the final whistle.

Re: How can we grow Women's Lacrosse?

The sport will only grow when there is a larger support structure from the volunteer areas to attract recognised publicity through all forms of the press. Whilst umpiring and coaching are essential support and require commitment the easiest way to help grow lacrosse is to have supporters turn up at ...

Re: Helmets for women's lacrosse?

It is difficult to make an informed comment on the clip as there are no real statistics, but the doctor states that he has seen an increase in concussions over the last few years, co-incidently since the states introduced eye protection. This would not only suggest helmets could be more dangerous bu...

Clubs and Colleges

I would like to thank the organisers for a good event.

We were missing players on a school lacrosse tour but managed a straight squad thanks to new players coming along and had a mix of results. Look forward to seeing some of you again at Blues.

safe pitches

From my experience this weekend is there any guidance as to when pitches are playable? I have usually relied on groundstaff and my own experience is limited (most of my youth spent in the swimming pool). This seems particularly relevent at tournaments where organisers are under pressure when teams h...

I believe the keeper receiving the ball in the circle is an improvement for the less experienced keepers particularly school level, those comfortable outside the crease do not...

Re: New rules

My concerns relate to the restraining line positions at the draw, and is the keeper still constrained to 10 seconds if receiving the ball for a restart from crossing the back line? Which bit of the draw positioning do you want clarification on? The set up should consist of the two players taking th...

Is there any indication as to which rules are going to be changed and how? Are any related to sticks and equipment, especially as there is not long to purchase replacements.
