Trauma: Level One. ITV, 3 Sept.

Features the chap from Purley in the minibus accident last season. A stark reminder to travel safely every Saturday.

Balls

Hi all. Long time no post!

I'm after 100-150 balls. Anyone know where I'm best looking for a good deal? Best deal I've found is northern soul, 120 for £165. Thanks.

Re: Tough Guy Challenge

Better be careful of putting this on here, but adventure racing has probably become my main sport over lacrosse now! There are lots of defferent types of race, probably easiest to split into either navigation based or course based. Not done the lakeland, might try something like that one day. Check ...

Re: Tough Guy Challenge

£100 to stand in a queue in a frozen puddle? No thanks.

I'm doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks fell race, a load of adventure races and triathlons.

Fancy doing this in a few years, the Patagonia adventure race... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12252120

What about Yes - as a volunteer (not that I've signed up to that yet, but would probably be willing to do something to help out). Although if that meant I couldn't watch any games then I might have to reconsider.

~Edit, I guess as a volunteer counts as a fan.

Using a member of our attack to score the winning goal on a fast break? Shock horror. And a saggy stick on such a wet day is hardly unheard of. Just lucky you didn't call the stick check before you called a time out! Although I do admit that perhaps his b2b was a little err, bold in such a close gam...

And does it have to be called directly after a goal (for it to cancel a goal), or before the next whistle (assuming the stick is still on the field of play)?

Re:

Checks whether the ball dislodges by dropping a ball in and bringing the stick from horizontal to vertical and back to horizontal. This should be done in an even movement. if the ball sticks and does not release from the stick when the stick is rotated through 90 degrees then the stick is illegal. ...

Played my first game in the North since 1988 yesterday (for Norbury) - loved it. I've been playing in the SEMLA leagues last three years, big difference! Back in the North, having lived in the South for 20 years - thanks to the Norbury & Leeds guys. It's great to be back in the home & heart...

Sounds like a top bloke, I'm sorry that our paths never crossed, although we must have come close (I arrived in Cardiff in 2002). Travel well.
