Re: World Cup 2014 Denver - Blue Division Schedule
They were unclear at the time as to how the rankings worked and that impacted on their final position.

Re: World Cup 2014 Denver - Blue Division Schedule
Is anyone clear how the rankings work for promotion in the divisions? Assuming that England do not make the same errors in organisational knowledge as 2010 on paper they should end up in 3rd or 4th place fighting it out with the Aussies. The Iroquois will be seeking to regain their Blue Division sta...

Re: BNCs West Team
I understand that the Lancs AGM recently wound up the County structure and agreed the transfer to the North West Regional Association formally. The will be a meeting in September to formalise the new structure and confirm officers etc. It is important that if you want the playing and development act...

Re: Crease Violation & Goalie Interference
The question covers two different situations, if the foul draws a flag then the match will restart where the play breaks down and whistle is blown to stop play, subject to the distance from goal. If the foul is an immediate whistle the ball will start from where it was when the whistle goes to stop ...

Re: Hidden Ball trick
No offence was taken, I was responding generally, not specifically to your comment, but thanks anyway! Re the crease issue, I have not got them to hand but think the situation is covered in the rules and would be a "get out of the crease" call. In which the offending player would get out o...

Re: Hidden Ball trick
The difference is that MAD is an international and panel ref, and a refs trainer and as such is caught up in that web of intrigue that emerges from World games scenarios and leads to FIL attemps to develop rules that cover every scenario which is impossible. He has no choice but to fall back on the ...

Re: Results 23rd March
Unfortunately this is an important element of the sport that is on the decrease. Take away the social interaction and all that is left is memory of the game.
All sorts or reasons for it, and it is a change throughout society, work, etc. Not a good thing to lose in my opinion.

Exactly, I will set them up and you deliver the punchlines!
As for flag happy... no I weep tears of sadness everytime I am forced to wave a yellow duster as some poor demented soul perverts the holy writ of the FIL/ELA rulebook! Honestly.... ask anyone.

Re: Hidden Ball trick
It does not matter if the contact is on stick or glove, if whacking the f*ck means what I assume it does then the play is either uncontrolled or unnecessary roughness, or maybe the Stockport version of whacking the f*ck out of someone or something is rather different from that experienced elsewhere!

Re: Hidden Ball trick
And you will be sent off for 1 to 3 minutes, whacking the f*ck out of any player is a personal foul!
