Just check the websites of the colleges and you should be able to find great games all the time whilst in NY. YOu may have to take a train or two but they are easily accesible. CW Post, NYIT, Stony Brook, Hofstra, St Johns, Pennsylvania (less that an hour plus many others in the Philadelphia area), ...

Hofstra 13 - England 1 going into half time. Hofstra is now playing freshman and their two best players are not playing tonight. The trip over all is a worth while experience (playing and coaching) but it has to be tough on the players that are competing for spots. Hopefully they are filming the gam...

England got beat by Lehigh 12-2, i guess there goes their only win on this trip with Princeton, Drexel and Hofstra still to come. I think they may need to re-think their offense with only 11 goals in 3 games

if you are looking to go to college always look for the 4 year option first, keep the JUCO option to a last resort. The reason being is that when you transfer from a 2 year to a 4 year you will receive less financial aid and the way the economy is the option for scholarships are limited because ever...

it is never too late for a player to go over to the US. You can go over in January if you wanted to, which gives you time to find a school, contact the coach and go through the process.

last year just under 100 players tried out for a spot on salisbury's roster, they take just over 40 of them. You have to do that every year. Thats a lot of money to spend for a maybe. Academics has gotten better over time and so has there facilities but a lacrosse powerhouse in Maryland is going to ...

there is a guy who played at my club of Poynton who is the head coach at Lees-McRae College in the US. He has 2 england players on his roster at the moment, i am sure you can email him and he will be able to answer any questions you have about playing in the US and with recruiting, from that article...

19 is not too old if you look in the right places, you just have to sell yourself, like every american athlete does. Get some film and create a resume of lacrosse experience, get copies of all your grades (gcse upwards) and go take your SAT exam (http://www.collegeboard.com). Create a complete packa...

The SAT is only hard if you dont study it. Plan on taking it a couple of times. Becuase it is a standardised test you will get better the more you take it. It covers math, comprehension, and writing. The writing section though is not counted with university applications or with the NCAA. If you are ...

the thing i want to say is if you are looking at the junior college route of getting into a 4 year lacrosse school you are going to have to be prepared to pay abit more money. You could get some opportunities with schools offering scholarships but they are also limited so a lot of schools especially...

most schools you wouldnt have to pay $25,000 a year. everything gets broken down with regard to academic and athletic scholarships. If you go D3 i would look at the lower level, you have more chance playing and more chance receiving financial aid and you would be well coached. D2 on the other hand y...

some advice. Not a lot of college coaches use recruiting services, do it cheaper and do it yourself, if a coach is interested they will help you get started. If are looking to play 4 years of american collegiate lacrosse find a four year school that you can play at and go there. This will work bette...
