Re: Cup Semi-Final Draw

What is the format is it seeded or are there sides of the draw or are all names back in the hat and drawn randomly.
Effectively can Stockport and cheadle meet before the final
Or will it be sorted so they don't

Re: England Squad

I would not worry about the LDO game who knows what squad went ect(although they should really have beaten them) I am surprised by the latest cut and the number of overseas players still in (and the lack of official announcement of the cut) It appears we have cut only UK players who have put in the ...

England Squad

With the world games approaching quickly has the England squad been announced? I had heard rumours there has been another cut but nothing has been published. or is the squad still at 46 including the Americans brought in in January. I though one of our strengths is England can get the team together ...

Re: Ashes 2013-14

I agree with Davo on this one.

but we don't know he may of been a complete tool and a disruption to the team off the pitch.

Re: results 7/12/14

"Mersey 17 Wacs 8. Big win for Mersey against closest rivals....is this a change of fortune for Mersey or a bad day from WACS?" a bit of both I would say. only the first game I have played on the first this season so hard to compare but the Mersey offence was strong from the start scoring ...

Re: competitive match

there is an argument that enjoyment or pleasure of competition should be measured by did you play the best you could and "mine the ore of your potential" rather than the arbitrary final score. to compete it has to be competitive and to try your hardest is almost bullying. should we shut of...

Re: competitive match

the situation could be though they are better than you and the 18-1 scores was correct and the 14 to 8 win to you was was because they were under strength? They got relegated and we didn't, so I would say they had to have been under strength for the majority of the year....... being under strength ...

Re: competitive match

I am not saying it never happened but it happened less than you think I think it was used as an excuse for teams that were not up to the mark. Maybe, though I still remember being in a relegation scrap with a certain B team many years ago and we got hammered 18-1, then beat them 14-8 with the same ...

Re: competitive match

I don't think you have been reading the threads I have put up we have not managed to put the same team out twice. the A team is regularly raped for player by higher teams this week was bad as we lost a lot of players to Scotland training I think you will find most A teams are weakened by first teams...

Re: competitive match

I know trig just old and bitter and looking back to the good old days when you went to a game not knowing if you would win or lose and having a good game could change the result. If I was u19 and not playing in prem 1 I would probably only play on Sunday night as the sat games are a waste of time. I...

Re: competitive match

no today was a bit different. as per last week we had selection issues with the first being short due to injuries availability and Scotland training(normally a good thing) so we were very depleted again.6-7 players we were playing Cheadle who are the best team in our league and would be a battle on ...

Re: competitive match

a quick update on this weeks match. it started off quite good the first team had 6 cry offs due to playing Stockport and other reasons. this was good news as they are the 6 best players out of the A Game started scrappy with the recently promoted players taking a while to find their feet but then we...

Re: North vs South

i think there is a bit of mis conception yes it is warmer in oz but half the pitches I played on were worse than the UK. I can be just as wet if not more so.( I played a few games in mud that would have been called of here) in the middle of summer the pitch turns to dust with random bits of grass an...
