Re: England Squad
Also, Kyle Standiford was born in London and unlike many Americans that make rosters for the worlds, not just England's, he did spend a season here. He played for Durham University, Newcastle LC in NEMLA & Yorkshire in 2010-11.
Re: BNCs 2014
ELA have now published something http://www.englishlacrosse.co.uk/lacrosse-talk/2014-british-national-championships-18083/ However, based on what I have heard the Wales team will not be their World Champs team as the ELA have listed. This has been up on facebook for about a week though: https://www....

Re: Results - 12/04/14
I'm with trig. We too would have played all 3 of our play-in games were it not for the fact that we were down to around 7 players being available for each game! Had they been in February as originally intended then we would have fulfilled them all. If we had scraped 9 players we would probably have ...

Re: NEMLA Match Reports
Also, Newcastle vs Cheadle Hulme was the second game of the day but it reported as "The opening tie" Whilst it's good to see regular reporting of lacrosse it needs more accuracy. Perhaps, clubs should publish their own reports and then Tom or someone at the ELA edits them together to creat...

Re: BNC Predictions?
Pom, I think you need to look at this again unless you really think Wales will finish in the bottom two below all the University sides! Final - Yorkshire bt East - I can't not back my own team!! 3/4 - Central bt West 5/6 - Scotland bt Eng Academy Plate Final - South bt Wales 9/10 - Eng Unis bt South...

Re: 2013 Yorkshire Cup
The 2013 Yorkshire Cup was won by Sheffield University, regaining the title from the Presidents Select. The students never really got out of second gear as they regained the title with wins over Sheffield Steelers and a Presidents Select squad drawn from players across the region. The Presidents Sel...

Re: Results 23rd Feb
Are Sheffield University not made up from mostly Hallam students? I believe they have had issues in BUCS that led to Hallam being kicked out so perhaps those issues are now affecting the NEMLA team.

Lancashire Cup
Nottingham 14-4 Hull
By far our worst performance of the season. Attack lacked invention, whilst the defence was disjointed throughout. We looked like the Hull of 2 years ago. Will havr to wait 5 weeks to mend the issues now though!

Re: ATTENTION ALL SEMLA CLUBS
Having read this thread I then checked my emails to find the minutes of the NEMLA Management Meeting. I was very surprised to find that this issue isn't even mentioned. MG, as you were there last night, why was nothing said about this matter and why has nothing similar to Kieran's letter been sent t...

Re: Results 10th november
Your summer idea also falls flat on its face due to Euros, World Champs which are basically every summer at some age group or another! What a load of rubbish! So what if a major championships is staged in the summer. You either have a mid-season break or clubs have to deal with the loss of internat...
Premiership 2 hardly prepares a relegated team from Premiership 1, to play Premiership 1 the next season, if they manage to gain promotion.
That isn't necessarily true. The teams promoted in the current structure from Premier 2 are: Sheffield Steelers - Relegated back...

Re: League north structure
Can the pom, UKLacrosse and dalglish please tell me why the previous structure worked in their opinion? Because I can assure you as a member of a new club it did not. Ourselves and Newcastle found that the only clubs who regularly travelled to either of us was each other in the old structure whilst ...
