Stolen Land Rover

There was another incident at the Flags. My friend had his Land Rover stolen from the car park at Rochdale on Sunday, while he was watching the games. If you are in the Rochdale area can you keep an eye out for a dark metallic grey, long wheel base station wagon. Its Reg is S231 NEC . It may be park...

Re: New League Structure

That may be so and in my opinion correct, but the wording of the rules says at the end of the league programme not near the end to see who plays who in the final three games.
The rules need to be changed to allow for the new league structure.

New League Structure

So can any one shed any light or even give an opinion on Prem 2. Wilmslow and Rochdale are tied on 16 points, League Republic has Wilmslow in 4th with a better goal difference and Rochdale in 5th. But Rochdale are better on head to head. But if you read the NEMLA rules on League Republic it says. 5....

U19 All Stars

Just to let everyone know there is another U19 All Stars game at Timperley on Sunday 15th 7.00 pm face. The pick of young talent will be on show in another East V West show down. Last year was a great game and well worth the stand in the cold on a Sunday evening. East Squad Will Baxter GK Poynton Ja...

Re: competitive match

You will have noticed that Cheadle had no 1st team game, so they won't have had to rob their A team of player for injuries and cry offs. Mellor also had no 1st team game and their A team posted their first win of the season. It is important that the fixtures are not set up with 1st teams missing wee...

Re: Stick Checks

Can you call a stick check in a golden goal situation ?
Does the scoring of the goal finish the game so no chance of a stick check call.
Therefore it is worth the risk to play with an illegal stick to win the game.

Results 12/10

Looking at league republic there has been a lot of games conceded and it's not even half term or cold. North 3 this week Brooklands and Boardman . North 2 Stockport B third week in a row. Is this a sign of things to come this season with clubs not being able to play games because of cry offs. Are th...

Referees micro managing the game

I have been watching a fair bit of lacrosse this last few weeks, with the Flags weekend, BNC weekend and the play offs this weekend and I have obviousley seen a lot of panel refs in action. My question is are the refs managing the games or are the players managing the refs ? It appears to me that on...

Re: NEMLA PREMIER 1 PLAY OFFS

Had a great time walking the dog at Cheadle Hulme this afternoon, just doing a figure of eight around the two pitches. Not sure of the exact scores: Poyton beat Brooklands by about ten Boardman beat Sheffield by one in a very tight game Nottingham beat Newcastle 12-4 The dog can't wait for next seas...

Re: Results 16/2

I am a bit confused with the refs offering the teams which exclusion fouls they prefer, surely it is up to the refs to decide. If there were 9 expulsion fouls there should be 9 players missing for the next 3 games. I am sure WACS would have prefered 5 Stockport first team players out for the Flags s...

Re: Results 16/2

I heard the was an expulsion foul for stockport so it must have been a little more than just handbags, not an everyday occurance even in the prem?

Re: Results 10th november

I have still got the fixtures from last season and according to league republic Stockport B conceded two games last year to Heaton Mersey and Mellor and had points adjusted . So I hope Stoke play all there games and at the end of the season they will be able to say they were better than Stockport B....

Re: Live stream - U19 World Games

I signed up for all the games but I am struggling to watch them all.
Does anyone know how to save them and if, not how long will they be up for viewing, as I go on holiday in a couple of weeks and should have time then.

Re: New Lacrosse Team - Looking for Funding.

Mellor U19 got £500 from Mars Refuel last year towards new kit. I have been emailed last month to say they are now open for new bids. They give money away each month and if you don't get money the first month you apply you roll over to next months. It was easy to apply and the money has been very he...
