Remember in one of the first games I played that our keeper got hit in the balls twice in quick succession....

Heard someone on the sidelines mutter - 'that guy must have balls of steel!"

If you're split dodging from up top, yes try to keep enough distance from the d-man so that he can't get a solid check in, if you are going all out he shouldn't be able to react quick enough to get to you. If you are rolling your d-man from x (where else would you be rolling from??) and think you ar...

Re:

I don't recall playing in a game when this has been the case but I know of games being "no take out" games when younger players are involved... to a mixed recpetion if I remember correctly. Sure someone else could shed more light on this though. Have played in a few games that were no-tak...

Re:

whilst i understand this rule is still in the rule book, it's one of those that we are likely to never enforce on a normal league game. So many of the goals currently circulating are illegal (rage cages for one). However, if the ref were to show up and cancel the game because the goal didn't exactl...

Remember that aerobics session quite well, don't know how! Starjumps, suicides etc are not a good idea when drunk and dressed up in 80's sporting gear. Good laugh though, but sadly only lasted till about 9.30...

Depends on value of the pole, for sporting goods it is generally 2.5 % plus 17.5% VAT after that, plus any handling charges.
Keep an eye on what customs classify your items as - my arm pads were put down as clothing - 20% import tax! - but managed to claim it back off the thieving sods.

Right, took bout half hour to read the whole damn thread, now for my few pence worth! Keep the prem as it is, SEMLA wide to give every team something to aim for. Currently keep the league structure below the prem as it is, but look at a possibility of creating (when there are enough teams) another S...

If moving towards the body you can be used as a screen for the shot... if moving for the stick easier to face dodge...

personally I'm quite happy playing on a pitch that is a bit of a mud bath - isn't this the reason we all wear studs/blades??? referees please take note that lacrosse is a winter sport, and poor weather can occur in the winter! I'm sure that most players would rather play the game they've turned up f...
